What is body-fit
Body-Fit is a fit that is mainly used for shirts and T-shirts. It is a close tailoring in which the fabric hugs the torso and arms. That is why elastane (stretch) is often worked into the fabric, so that you can still move freely. The result is a sporty, streamlined look that works best on a slim, muscular or athletic figure.
Body-Fit is the tightest fit in the range and therefore sits closer than Slim-Fit. Some brands use their own name for it, such as Tight-Fit or Italian-Fit, so let the brand's size chart be the deciding factor rather than the word on the label.
How do I recognise a Body-Fit?
Always look at the label first. If that is inconclusive, lay the garment down flat: with a Body-Fit the chest is clearly wider than the waist, and you can see that narrowing even when it is lying flat.
